Phill Pike is the Director of Jimbaran Engineering Pty Ltd with 26years experience in the Underground Coal Mining Industry as an Underground Fitter.

Phill has been designing, suppling and installing automated vent door control systems since 1998 with Magnum/Juganaut Industries and VLI before leaving the industry in 2008 for a 3 year period.

In October 2011 Phill returned to the industry and opened Jimbaran Engineering Pty Ltd after VLI handed back all the automated vent door control system information as result of a business restructuring process.

Phill revamped the original kit designs to now be FRAS rated and offer a higher level of safety to line up with the current industry expectations and used the benefit of past experience but still maintain the practicality that has made these kits easy to install and manage for the end user to improve safety and production on site and assist making the underground workplace a better environment.

The kits are continually being developed as more is learnt and Phill will listen to any new ideas that will improve the kits or the way they are preassembled and packed to make the installer’s job easier underground.
